Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Qianjiang Century City, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, and served as the main venue for the 11th G20 Summit of the Group of Twenty. As a key project in Zhejiang Province, it has a planned building area of 840,000 square meters, featuring an exhibition center, conference center, comprehensive property, rooftop garden (city living room), underground commercial facilities, and parking garage. The exhibition center is designed with 7,500 international standard booths (including 1,000 outdoor booths); the conference center can accommodate high-specification international conferences such as APEC and Davos; the 60,000-square-meter rooftop garden, combined with the city living room, meets the needs of high-standard receptions, banquets, and premium exhibitions. The city living room echoes with the "City Balcony" across the Qiantang River, forming a new urban highlight.

Designed by Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd., the Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is situated in Qianjiang Century City, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City. According to the overall urban planning of Hangzhou City, Qianjiang Century City will form a new urban center and central business district together with Qianjiang New Town, marking a significant step for Hangzhou to transition from the "West Lake era" to the "Qiantang River era".

Occupying an area of 190,000 square meters, the main building consists of five above-ground floors and two underground levels, covering a total area of 850,000 square meters. It features 18,000 square meters for conferences, 61 meeting rooms, 90,000 square meters for exhibitions, capable of accommodating 4,500 international standard booths, and boasts a column-free exhibition hall measuring 10,000 square meters. With 4,000 parking spaces, it is a comprehensive complex integrating conference, exhibition, hotel, commercial, and office functions.

The Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center has five floors and 61 meeting rooms, including a grand conference hall of 3,000 square meters, a banquet hall of 1,800 square meters, and a multi-functional hall of 1,300 square meters. The grand conference hall is equipped with 16 channels of simultaneous interpretation to meet the requirements of international conferences.

The main venue of the 2016 China Hangzhou G20 Summit was located on the fourth floor of the Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, with a square space of 45 meters on each side, embodying the simple philosophical view of "round sky, square earth".
