On May 28th, 2024, Dr. WEI Zhaohui, Secretary-General of CAEXPO Secretariat, met with His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Dr Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy (MOFE) II of Brunei Darussalam. During the meeting, Dr. Wei briefed on the working proposals for the 21st CAEXPO.
Minister Dato Dr Amin Liew expressed high regard for the significant role of the CAEXPO in fostering China-ASEAN cooperation and confirmed continued support for the trade event. He commended the CAEXPO Secretariat for leading a business delegation to Brunei and expressed hope that the CAEXPO would encourage more Chinese companies, particularly those from Guangxi, to participate in constructing the Brunei-Guangxi Economic Corridor and explore business opportunities across various sectors for practical cooperation within the country.
